Rev. R. Steven Reneau
He is a native of Wetumpka, Alabama, and a graduate from Birmingham-Southern College studying both Religion and Philosophy. He received his Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He is an ordained Elder in Alabama-West Florida Conference. His wife, Olivia L. Poole-Reneau, is a graduate from Auburn University and Emory University. She is an ordained Elder in the Alabama-West Florida Conference, and serves Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Smiths Station.
Rev. Lucas S. Tribble
Lucas is a native of Montgomery, AL where he grew up at Aldersgate UMC and graduated from LAMP High School in 2012. In May of 2016, Lucas graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He was licensed as a Licensed Local Pastor and appointed as an Associate Pastor at both our church and Mount Zion UMC in Smiths Station at the 2016 Annual Conference. His ministries of emphasis here at Trinity are College and Young Adults as well as Local Missions. He is currently a student at Emory University's Candler School of Theology where he is working on his Master of Divinity. He is on track to be an Ordained Elder in our Annual Conference. While growing up playing baseball, basketball, and football, Lucas became a humongous sports fan. He obsessively follows Auburn Athletics, as well as the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Dallas Mavericks.
Rev. Charles M. Langford
Born in Dale County, Alabama in 1930, Charles Langford was licensed to preach by the Dothan District on March 8th, 1949. On June 1st, 1952, Bishop Clare Purcell appointed him to his first charge in Brewton, Alabama. On March 27th, 1952 he married Carolyn Foster of Brewton. Their children are Marcia Moss and Rod, Joel Langford and Sheila, and have four grandchildren. Charles and Carolyn have served 13 appointments, including Trinity United Methodist Church from 1988-1991. They retired with 41 years of service to the United Methodist Church in June of 1993, and moved back to Phenix City, Alabama, where Charles became the part-time, retired clergy for pastoral care.
Vicki Harper Borders is a native of Phenix City and a graduate of Central High School. She is a retired school teacher from the Phenix City Board of Education. Marrying her High School sweetheart, she was blessed to share 38 years of marriage with her “true love” Al Borders. Blessed with one daughter Valerie Borders and three grandchildren, Vicki lives a very active life filled with serving God, working out at Curves Fitness, walking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
